Bér Engels

Bér Engels (1993) is a strategic adviser to mission-driven organisations. He has a background in the cultural sector, including the worlds of film, theatre and nightlife. For nearly fifteen years, Bér has supported mission-driven organisations—as a campaigner, strategist, adviser, funder, board member and supervisor—in making the world a little more beautiful, cleaner, better, more joyful and, above all, more just.

In his day-to-day work, he is active as an independent strategist and public affairs (board-level) adviser to civil society organisations and NGOs. In addition, he serves as a board member and supervisor, and is committed to strengthening modern governance and oversight in the (semi-)public sector. Alongside this, he is active as a human rights activist and is involved in the climate, digital rights and housing movements.
