Minimal Circuit NL
Join us on 13 November for Minimal Circuit NL, a meetup and networking event bringing together French and Dutch artists with a shared passion for permacomputing and game design. The afternoon will contain a full programme of interactive video game performances, workshops and round tables.
Institut Français is coming to visit CCU for this meetup, featuring artist and game designer Florent Deloison from the École supérieure d’art et de design (ESAD) in Orléans. Florent will showcase his technocritical video game, “Burying E.T.”, which is a game for the Atari 2600. Afterwards, he will join a roundtable alongside Dutch artists Rein van der Woerd and Janne Schimmel, who recently participated in the European Permacomputing Game Jam with a Nintendo DS game. Together, they will explore the paradigm shift in alternative video games, moving from impressive visuals to the basic idea of how we interact with games. Claim your free ticket!
